My Mother

I know my mother loves me and all, but sometimes she just never stops talking when I know that I understand what she's lecturing me about. If I don't pick up my clothes and then she tells me too and I say that I will, she'll just keep on talking about what will happen if I don't and blah,blah,blah,blah,blah...

Google Adsense

I was talking to my parents about getting AdSense for my blog. AdSense is this thing that earns bloggers money by posting ads chosen by them and earning money on a per-click basis. This seemed like a great idea, with me earning a small trickle of mula (hopefully) at no cost to me; until I found out you have to pay a certain amount for every thousand clicks. I thought I might be able to balance out the cost with lemonade money that I earn each summer. (I'm able to earn a good 4-7 bucks in the hour-and-ad-half I just sit out there waiting for people to buy my 7oz. cups for 50 cents each >.<, although sometimes I raise the cup size to about 10-12oz. and keep the same cost.) But that was until I found out that Google would close your account after you earn $100. There are still other ways to earn a little more money with AdSense, but with the small amount of people that visit (and follow, but no one is following yet) my blog, it wouldn't be worth the cost. maybe in the future I'll be this amazing blogger with like, over 9,000 =) followers, but I don't see that happening any time soon.

Eternal Life (technically)

I was just reading the Battle of the Labrinth when I came upon the part where Daedulus had lived forever in a bunch of different robot thingies and it made me wonder if it was even possible. It probably isn't because, well, you can't really put your soul in robot, or for that matter build the things he's made in his life. But if it was possible, what would you do? Would you even want to live forever and see everyone die, or would you want to live forever because you could do so many things? It kinda reminds of that stupid Tuck Everlasting book that was the spark of so many arguments between me and Mrs. Komlos that usually ended in her giving me a look like she knew everything with her chin up high saying, "No. It doesn't work like that." I kinda wished that she actually was open to different ideas and opinions. (It was later found by Joey Orr that she has Allodaxaphobia).
But onto that eternal life thing. My opinion: It'd be nice to die in life, but I'd have to say that living forever would be better. Not that I like sitting on porches and watching cars go by (if you get the analogy), but you would be so much wiser and smarter. No offense to all you I-want-to-die-because-I-want-to-go-to-heaven-and-see-my-family-and-firends people, but I'd rather live forever. And also think about how Daedulus eventually died. Maybe their could be some way to eventually die, like burning your body to nothing. Well, I guess it's hard to decide over one of mankind's biggest struggles. Death or no death?

One Pound Deer

My Grandfather sent this one to me today. Sure did make my day! >.<
First pic is best!
 What a  cutie!
Had  to send this one forward.  One of those beautiful miracles given us each day and which are mostly lost.

A brief moment that renews our spirit and gives joy to the  heart. Kinda makes your day, doesn't it  ?

This tiny deer was delivered by Caesarean section at a Wildlife hospital after a car killed his mother.  Little Rupert, who is so small he can fit in an adult's hand, was born after vets failed in their battle to save his mother.

At just 6" tall and weighing just over a pound, he is now in an incubator in the intensive care unit at Tiggywinkles Wildlife Hospital in Buckinghamshire.  He has only recently opened his eyes.

Les Stocker, founder of Tiggywinkles, said, "Rupert's mother had very severe injuries. We brought him out and got him breathing, and then he went into an incubator on oxygen. He is now being fed by a tube."

Rupert in an incubator.

Rupert pulls a striking pose for the camera.

Staff members are optimistic that Rupert, now 5 days old, will make a full recovery.
"Deer are very, very tricky, but this one has spirit. He's an extremely feisty,
Little guy and quite pushy," Mr. Stocker said.

Asleep:  Rupert takes 40 winks.

Hope you will share this one.

Brother in Taiwan

My brother, Lincoln, just left for San Fransisco this morning and luckily got there safely. Next he'll be headed of to Tokyo and finally Taiwan. I don't think I'll miss him until I go to Camp Karoondinha (Boy Scout Camp) and he's not there.

Yoplait Yogurt

I hate these stupid little cups they put the yo in! :( All the gurtyo just gets stuck along the edge of the top and then it gets warm and disgusting because you've been holding the cup for like, an hour and you are only halfway done cuz you love the flav. I think I might go on a little "vacation" down to their headquarters.
